Valentine cards for my students

Good morning. Finally dug out from yesterday's storm.

Today's post is the card I'm giving my first graders for Valentine's Day. It is an adaption from one posted on Patty Bennett's blog. I used the new Heart shaped treat cups and the fancy favor Big Shot die. I followed Patty's directions except I cut the two end flaps off. The main color is Real Red and the Designer paper is Sending Love from the Occasions Mini. The "holder" for the candy is from the Two Tags die for the Big Shot.

Don't forget about my mini milk carton kits. See yesterday's post for information.

Enjoy!

Today I will show the February banner. It says BEMINE. It uses Read Red cardstock for the background paper and the new Sending Love Specialty designer paper from the Occasions Mini. It also uses the new Sending Love Epoxy Brads in Pretty in Pink. I have 4 kits for sale for $20 each. If you are not local, please add $4.95 for priority shipping. Papers are not the same as I used what I had left to make the kits. Remember, for every $50 you order from either the mini or the idea book you receive one item free from the Sale-a-bration brochure. Valentine candy holders

Good Saturday afternoon. Once again a week has gone past and I've not posted. I finally figured out what was wrong with my camera and will be taking pictures this afternoon and will post the candy holders we made this morning.

I have a confession to make. When Stampin'Up! announced they were coming out with clear mount blocks for our fabulous rubber stamps I was not happy. I'd tried another company's product and found it very inferior. Well.....I bought several stamp sets to try so I would have knowledge for you, my customers, and I"M IN LOVE!!! They are wonderful and have helped so much in placing the image on the cardstock. It is still our fabulous rubber with a new "holder". Call me for a free demonstration of this super new product.

Sweet Treets Cup HO

Good morning. Happy Sunday to you. Today's project is another sweet treet cup. AND look to the Occasions mini beginning on January 5th for HEART shaped cups...I'm so excited.

Anyway on to the project. I used a 6" by 6 3/4" piece of Real Red cardstock. Score on the 6 3/4" side at 3" and 6". My DSP was cut 2 3/4" by 6 3/4". The slide piece is 2 1/2" by 6". I used the 1 3/8 circle punch to cut the pull out area and the Round Tab punch for the puller (is that a word?) I mounted the H from the Alpha Big shot letters and then cut thru all layers with the 1 3/4" punch. This takes alot of strength so be careful. You then put glue dots around the top outside edge of the cup. Do not remove the adhesive from the back of the cup. Put the cup in place and then using sticky strip adhere the side and bottom together. Fill with your favorite candy and push the insert piece in place to hold the candy. Enjoy!

Christmas Candy holder

Good afternoon. Sorry for the lack of posts, I am trying to take pictures and get the supply lists together.

This candy holder uses the Movers & Shapers Holiday Windows. The cardstock was cut 3.5 X 11 and placed on the left side of the die. It took a few tries to get the cutout exactly where I wanted it. I then used a sharpie and marked the box around the die so I knew where to put it the next time. Have the opening at the bottom so your ornament is facing in the right direction. I used the 3 snowflakes from the Serene Snowflakes stamp set and versamark. Then embossed with clear embossing powder. I used the scalloped punch on the top edge and put a piece of 3.5 X 1" of striped DSP from Merry Moments. 1/4" real red grosgrain completed the project. I used the Delightful Decorations stamp set to stamp to and from and mounted it to the piece left from the cutout. Enjoy!
