Very Hungry Caterpillar

Good morning. I've spent the last few weeks working with my first graders on the Very Hungry Caterpilar. We made props and did a skit for the whole school. They loved it. The fantastic student teacher in our building, Diana Roth, ended the project with this wonderful caterpillar cake. It was very good, the kids loved it. Thank you Diana. Enjoy!

Freedom Banner

This is the fantastic FREEDOM banner my downline, Celia, created. Her daughter is in the armed forces and this is a tribute to her and all of our wonderful service members. I am teaching this banner on Saturday, May 22nd. I know it is short notice, but I still have 3 spaces available. Please call me today to reserve your spot. I look forward to seeing you on Saturday. This banner is also available as a kit without the stamp on the first page. Enjoy!

Dry embossing Black and White

Good morning. My technique class met last night and we did dry embossing. I chose black and white because wedding season is upon us.

The supplies were black, white, and vellum cardstock. We used black brads to hold the vellum on the black cardstock. Various stamps were used. This card was created by Becky and I think she did a fantastic job for her first try. Such an elegant card. Enjoy!

Birthday Flowers

Good morning. Today's post is the result of yesterday's picture of my flowers. I used the layout from Andrea Walford's MOM card. I stamped the flower from Fifth Avenue Floral in Melon Mambo, clear embossed it, and cut it out. They were mounted to the front of the card using dimensionals. I hope all the mother's have a wonderful day today. Enjoy!

All supplies by Stampin'Up!

Stamps: Messages for Mom, Fifth Avenue Floral
Ink: Basic Black, Melon Mambo
Paper: Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
Ribbon: Melon Mambo Dotted

Flower inspiration

Good morning. I took these beautiful pictures this morning before the cold front causes them to wilt. I am going to use these pictures as the inspiration for the card I will post tomorrow. I will be using Melon Mambo, one of our in-colors and the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. Check back tomorrow for the card. Enjoy the pictures.

No new posts

Once again, I have to apologize for the lack of posts. I can't seem to finish the various projects I have in various states of completion. I hope to get this under control this weekend. My goal is to post at least 20 times in May. Thank you again for sticking with me.
