Let it snow banner

Happy New Years Eve. Sorry for the lack of posts, still recovering from a Resp. infection.

Today's post is the Let it snow banner. It was created with Bella Bleu designer paper. The background color is Not Quite Navy cardstock. The snowman from Two Dudes was stamped in Not Quite Navy ink. The ribbons were Kraft and Very Vanilla Taffeta. Assorted brads, some from a local store were used to finish. I will post a few letters at a time over the next 3 days. Enjoy!

Sweet Treets Cup HO

Good morning. Happy Sunday to you. Today's project is another sweet treet cup. AND look to the Occasions mini beginning on January 5th for HEART shaped cups...I'm so excited.

Anyway on to the project. I used a 6" by 6 3/4" piece of Real Red cardstock. Score on the 6 3/4" side at 3" and 6". My DSP was cut 2 3/4" by 6 3/4". The slide piece is 2 1/2" by 6". I used the 1 3/8 circle punch to cut the pull out area and the Round Tab punch for the puller (is that a word?) I mounted the H from the Alpha Big shot letters and then cut thru all layers with the 1 3/4" punch. This takes alot of strength so be careful. You then put glue dots around the top outside edge of the cup. Do not remove the adhesive from the back of the cup. Put the cup in place and then using sticky strip adhere the side and bottom together. Fill with your favorite candy and push the insert piece in place to hold the candy. Enjoy!

Christmas Candy holder

Good afternoon. Sorry for the lack of posts, I am trying to take pictures and get the supply lists together.

This candy holder uses the Movers & Shapers Holiday Windows. The cardstock was cut 3.5 X 11 and placed on the left side of the die. It took a few tries to get the cutout exactly where I wanted it. I then used a sharpie and marked the box around the die so I knew where to put it the next time. Have the opening at the bottom so your ornament is facing in the right direction. I used the 3 snowflakes from the Serene Snowflakes stamp set and versamark. Then embossed with clear embossing powder. I used the scalloped punch on the top edge and put a piece of 3.5 X 1" of striped DSP from Merry Moments. 1/4" real red grosgrain completed the project. I used the Delightful Decorations stamp set to stamp to and from and mounted it to the piece left from the cutout. Enjoy!

Enjoy!
