I will also have retired stamp sets, papers and embossing powder from several years ago. Don't miss the fun. Call or email your RSVP today. Enjoy!

This is the third of four cards you can choose from at the Open House on Saturday, July 25th from 10-3. This card uses the Rich Razzleberry In Color cardstock and ink, Rich Razzleberry polka dotted ribbon and Razzleberry Lemonade designer paper (my favorite). I used the Big Shot scalloped and Movers and Shakers dies and the Circle Cutter. The stamp set is Razzle Dazzle.

Sign up as a Stampin'Up! demonstrator during the $85 demo special and you will earn a chance to win the Circle Cutter and Glass Mat. The special is available thru me only, not as part of the Stampin'Up! special. Call, email me, or go to my Stampin'UP! website today to join my wonderful downline.

Summer Banner

Good morning,

I am totally obsessed with these banners. I found them last fall on Patty Bennett's site. She had a wonderful tutorial for sale and I've adapted my own ever since. I've been making one for each month. I have a group of ladies who look so forward to the next one. Tomorrow we will be making the Summer banner. It uses all retired designer paper from the 6x6 packs available to the Level 1 Hostesses the last few years. They are the perfect size to cut down for the banners. And it's a great way to use up the extras you have. This banner used Apricot Appeal, Pretty in Pink, and Green Galore. I used More Mustard, Rose Red, and Green Galore ink to daub the edge of the letters. The letters were cut out in Whisper White using the Big Shot (love, love it) and the Serif Essentials Alphabet dies. I also used our wonderful new Butterfly punch. The "woody" station wagon on the Front cover is from the retired Just Beachy set from the Occasions Mini. If you like would like to order any of the current products, call or email me today. I'll post the rest of the cards we will be making at the open house on Saturday, July 25th from 10-3 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Enjoy!

Make and Take number 2

Today's card uses the new In-Color Crushed Curry Cardstock. It also uses the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer paper, Razzle Dazzle and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamps and the Big Shot Scalloped die and the circle cutter for the circle, Modern Label punch and movers and Shakers die. Melon Mambo dotted ribbon and ink. Lots of "tools" for these cards. I hope you are planning on joining me on Saturday, July 25th from 10-3. Come anytime, make a card, and place your order. I hope to see you then. Enjoy!

New Catalog Openhouse Make and Takes

For the next four days I am going to show you the cards you can choose (only 1) to do as a make and take for the openhouse on Saturday, July 25th from 10-3. Please RSVP before Thursday, July 23rd so I know how many to prepare. These cards will use the Razzle Dazzle and the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets. The designer paper is Razzleberry Lemonade (my favorite) and the new in colors of Dusty Durango, Melon Manbo, Crushed Curry, and Rich Razzleberry. The dotted ribbons match the new in colors. A little tip when tying a knot with this new ribbon since it is not double sided. Turn the one side as you are pulling the knot tight. This will keep the dots on the outside. Here is today's sample, cased from Patty Bennett. You can see her originals here. Enjoy!

Sunflower with Bee

Sounds like a fancy painting but I liked the way this photograph came out. We were in New Hampshire at Plymouth State University and they had the most gorgous sunflowers. They were huge. When I focused in for a close up I saw this bee sitting on the flower. I think I will use this as an idea for a card. My classes are beginning again so I will have projects to share with you this weekend. Enjoy!!

Birthday Cupcakes

Good morning. I know the papers are retired on this card, but we liked the soft effect and used them anyway during the birthday cards class. This one uses Crazy for Cupcakes (111618). I wanted to show you how wonderful this stamp set is and how easy it is to make a really cute card. We used markers to color the cupcakes and stand, and applied Dazzling Diamonds using the two way glue pen. Great card for kids and adults alike. Enjoy!

Another picture from Portsmouth Harbor. There was a festival going on and we spent the rest of the day there. I didn't take pictures, sorry, was enjoying the weather and spending time with daughter and son in law. Ate at the Weathervane and had the most fabulous clam strips. I love FRESH seafood and it doesn't get much fresher than here at the coast. Today is son in laws birthday, Happy Birthday. Enjoy!!

I love the ocean!!

No stamping pictures today. We drove along the ocean from Portsmouth NH all the way to York Maine. A total distance of 30 miles that took us all afternoon because of bumper to bumper traffic. I did manage to find a beach and put my feet in the ocean. I can sit and watch the water all day. I just love it. The weather was perfect with a blue bird sky. No clouds!!!! Here is a picture of the harbor in Portsmouth. Enjoy!!

Look at what was on my doorstep

I opened the door on Monday to find this box from Stampin Up. Check out the corner. Mr. Brown wasn't sure what happened, but suggested I check it immediately. I did and everything was there and in fantastic condition. I'll show you tomorrow what was in the box. I'm on vacation in New Hampshire to celebrate my son-in-laws 30th birthday on Saturday. Enjoy!

Uncle Sam

Isn't this just the cutest! It's made with our wonderful punches. Kim from http://stitchinnstampinonpaper.blogspot.com/ found this wonderful guy. I think it would be a wonderful project for July 4th. I know it's past, but it's something you can do and have ready for next year. Enjoy!!

A rose is a rose

Doxiejan from Stampin' Addicts has done one of the most fantastic (I think) cards using the watercolor technique with the Aqua Painter and Reinkers. This card, and many more, are in the Gallery at Stampin'Addicts. I love the new in colors she used and the new Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Paper. I will be making some of these when I get home from vacation. We are going to New Hampshire for our Son-In-Laws 30th birthday. It should be a good time. I also plan on visiting another of my online friends from Stampin' Addicts, Jen. I will have my laptop and should be posting during that time, but if I don't you will know why not. Enjoy!

Worm Wishes

This is another card from the class we had making kids birthday cards. I received a card like this in a swap and it didn't have any information on the back to give credit. I made this one similar to the swap, but put one of our new Pumpkin Pie Corduroy buttons in the corner. I'm thinking of cutting one of the caterpillers out and adhering it to the top right corner. I used Green Galore, Whisper White, and Brilliant Blue cardstock. Green Galore and Brilliant Blue ink and our wonderful Stampin' Write Markers. The stamp set is Bugs & Kisses. Enjoy!

Celebration banner cover

We finished the Celebration banner class on Tuesday. I posted the inside of the banner here. Now I want to show you the cover that my downline Celia created. She used our new Modern Label Punch (116630) to create the firecracker. She added 3 small stars using the small star punch (109045) to complete the front. I think it is perfect. The gals had so much fun making these. I will take pictures of their different creations and post later. Enjoy!
