Leadership 3-D Swaps

Happy New Year's Eve. Today's post is my 3-d swap for Leadership. Leadership is a get together for demonstrators who have achieved Senior Supervisor and above. Thanks to my wonderful downline and all of you, I made Manager this year. I will be attending a special reception for Managers and above and will report on that next month. I will be away for Leadership from January 12th through the 16th. I am offering a very special gift to anyone who places an online order, here, while I am gone.

Here is the 3-d swap I will be taking with me. These are so cute and so easy. I used the two tags die for the Big Shot and placed the folded edge just below the cut line. I then used the apple from the Level 1 Hostess set. There is a magnet on both sides underneath. You then just place the bookmark over the page you are reading and it saves your place. So easy. Enjoy.

Sorry for no new posts

I have been busy cutting for my Christmas Buffet yesterday and time just got away from me. Thank you everyone who came. Monica and Randy came again this year and Randy has improved so much. It is enjoyable to see someone create something they love.

I have been fighting a sinus infection and major asthma problems. My students just love to share at this time of the year. Because of my illnesses I will not be posting anything new until at least the 18th...first day of Winter vacation.

Making swaps for Leadership in January, I will post those during break. Thank you all again for visiting. Your comments mean alot to me so I am offering some blog candy. It will be some new rubber...leave me a comment about what you have enjoyed seeing this year. Good luck.

Sweet Pea Birthday card

Good afternoon. I needed some quick and easy birthday cards and I think this fits the bill. I used the Sweet Pea designer paper on top of whisper white and Pumpkin Pie cardstock. Scalloped punched the edges and added another of the designer papers over that. I wanted some kind of embellishment but not ribbon or hardware. I used the 1/2", 3/4", and 1" circle punches to recreate the circles on the designer paper. The saying is from On Your Birthday. Enjoy

Stampin up colors retiring...get yours quick.

As I told you yesterday, Stampin'Up! is retiring some of it's colors and putting the others into new groups. There will be 6 new colors and 5 new in-colors. Here is the list of the retiring colors. If you are missing any, call me today to complete your set.

Tuesday, April 6, 2010

Today, Stampin’ Up! announced some amazing changes to the color lines! They are now called Color Collections instead of Families and have been rearranged for ease of selection as Brights, Neutrals, Regals and Subtles. We were allowed to share with our customers so that you may plan your purchase decisions based on this new information. The new (or old In Colors) will be available for customers beginning July 1, and the current (but soon to be retired colors) will be available for purchase until June 30th.

Several In Colors from the last couple of years have returned, including my all-time favorite, Baja Breeze! (Also returning are Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette, Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, River Rock and Tangerine Tango.)

Three of this year’s In Color favorites are not going to retire and will be available for purchase into next year: Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Soft Suede. Kraft has been renamed as Crumb Cake….yum!

The chart at the top shows you the remaining colors which includes the five new colors (Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist) Five new In Colors will be available in July that will now last 2 years instead of just one, and they sound lovely!

Some colors are retiring that I will miss such as Brocade Blue and Creamy Caramel, so if you would like to order any of these 30 pretty colors in cardstock, ink pads or refills, you’ll need to do so before June 30, 2010. I hope you are as excited to try Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso as I am, I look forward to the new color combos we can make.
