Happy Birthday

Today's swap card was made by Mary Ann Bernhardt. She used Soft Suede cardstock for the base and Coastal Cabana for the layer. DSP finished the card. Love the rhinestone accents.

Another "man" card

Today's Leadership swap card was created by Tina Rappe. She used our new bow punch for the bow tie....how cute. The colors are very masculine and would be a great card for birthday, as shown, or another celebration for that special male in your family.

To A Classic

Today's swap card was created by Kim Buckingham. What a great card for the man in your life. Birthday, Father's Day, any occasion. Base is Early Expresso as are the 3 brads in the upper right hand corner.

Rose red!

Today's card was created by Angela Waters. The base card is Smoky Slate and the layers are Rose Red, Window Sheet, and Silver Glimmer paper. Such a striking card for that special person.

Hello Swap Card

Today's swap card was made by Sharon McNeely. It uses the Painted Petals stamp set and Painted Blooms Designer Paper. Usually we use the ribbon to cover the edge of the papers but Sharon put the ribbon behind the DSP. What a clever idea.

Another swap card

Today's Leadership Swap card was created by Jessica Brigden. It uses Wild Wasabi as the background color, Wild Wasabi seam binding as the ribbon and Gold Designer paper cut with the Butterfly Basics Thinlit as the focal point. Such a beautiful and easy card to CASE.

Leadership swaps

During Leadership 2015 in not so warm Orlando I participated in an organized swap organized by Lyssa Z. I love her swaps as the quality is perfection. Today's post is a card made by Patti Gress. She used the Wreath framelit to create a gorgeous Valentine card. She used the hearts embossing folder for the background. Great card.

It is so cold! -21 last night actual

I thought since it's so cold in most of the country I would post something to help keep us warm.

Another card from this month's Speciality Class and a preview of the March Stamp of the month kit

This is another card we will be making on the 21st. I'm going to put this stamp set together with a couple of markers, some bakers twine and a package of DSP and make that the March Stamp of the Month kit. I'll post details of the kit this weekend.

Sneak peek of the upcoming Speciality Class

This is one of the cards and envelopes we will be making on Saturday, February 21st at 10:00 am. It is the monthly Speciality class and the cost will be $20 with a package of Designer Paper. This class will include 5 cards/envelopes and a box to store them. RSVP by Wednesday, February 11 to ensure arrival of order.

Hair and body scared stiff

Eyes closed, white knuckle grip....scared out of my mind. Look at the hair going back. This was a fast bumpy ride. But I rode it!!

Manager's Reception Gift

This is the wonderful gift we were handed when we boarded the bus after a fantastic evening at Hollywood Studios. This is where the Manager's Reception was held. We had this whole section to ourselves for 2 hrs. I even rode the Rock N Roller coaster...scary I'll tell you.

So much to share but brought home a bug

I have so much to share from the Stampin'Up! Leadership convention.,....but I brought home a bug!! 102 temp., sore throat, body aches, coughing......you get the idea. I'll spend today putting things together and will begin posting some of it tomorrow. Loved the convention so much.

I DID IT!!!

Yes, the title is in all caps. I am shouting. My one New Years resolution is to post to my blog everyday. And for the month of January I did it! Some mess ups with scheduled posts but I did it. I am so thankful for you, my friends, customers, and team members for all the support you give me. To my wonderful Sandee who keeps me organized and on track so I can do everything. Thank you all again.

Card 5 (my favorite) uses the following supplies: Same stamp set and thinlits dies. Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, and Mossy Meadow cardstock. Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow ink. Other supplies: In color Mossy Meadow ribbon, Pearls, Bitty butterfly punch, and glue dots.

Card 4 uses the following supplies: Same stamp set and thinlits. Crumb Cake, Whisper White, and Blushing Bride cardstock. Rose Red and Wild Wasabi markers (marker to stamp technique used). Crumb Cake and Rose Red inks. Other supplies used: 1/4" Blushing Bride cotton ribbon and Pearls.

It seems some of my scheduled posts are posting out of order. I am away at the Stampin'up! Leadership and tried to keep things going. I am sorry for the mixup. Card 3 uses the following supplies: Same stamp set and thinlit dies. Coastal cabana and Whisper White cardstock. Mossy Meadow and coastal Cabana ink. Pearls are also used.

Butterfly Basics card #1 for February Stamps in the Mail Kit

This is the first card in my February Stamps in the Mail Kit. Kits are still available to order. Supplies are as follows: Butterfly Basics stamp set, Butterflies Thinlits Dies, Naturals Ivory cardstock, Mossy Meadow, Tangelo Twist, and Blackberry Bliss inks. I also used sponges, Basic Butterfly punch, 3/4' PUNCH WHITE BAKER'S TWINE, and stampin dimensionals.

Butterfly Thinlits Dies

I'm sure you have seen the trouble we have with some of the thinlit dies. The cardstock gets stuck and rips before we can get it out of the die. Several of our talented demonstrators have video's using 2 dryer sheets that help with this problem. Take your two sheets and fold them in half. Then using the bigshot and both tabs run the die through on top of the dryer sheets. This creates a film on the die that does not hurt the cardstock but allows removal much easier. Love it!!

Card #2 for February Stamps in the Mail Kit

Card 2 uses the following supplies: Butterfly Basics stamp set and thinlits. coastal Cabana, Whisper White, and Daffodil Delight cardstock. Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper from the Occasions catalog, and Best Year Ever DSP FREE from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. Other supplies are the yellow button, also FREE, from the SAB catalog.

The Perpetual Birthday Calendar - January

This is the January page. You will notice my note. I took the pages and back board and used my Bind-It-All to hold them together. What I didn't do, however, is make sure the days of the months were correct. Hence the note to remind my ladies to make sure everything is in the correct order before we bind them. The little gold circles were punched with the 1/4" circle punch out of the scrap gold glitter paper from the kit. The sequins are from the string of sequins included in the kit. I just eased some off the end.

My speciality class for January is this coming Saturday, January 17, 2015. Love love love the Curvy Keepsake framelit. I made this one using our cardstock vellum. I used versamark and the snowflake stamp from the Project Life set and heat embossed it in gold. The tags are from the Curvy Keepsake framelit. Did I say I love this framelit.

Surprise opening

When your lucky receiver opens this card there will be a surprise. It ships flat but opens to show a hidden window with your sentiment. I found the directions for this card on Julie Davidson's blog and changed up the colors and sayings. I used the Sunburst stamp set and framelits. Love the spring colors.
