Ship ahoy Birthday Wishes

A friend of mine makes model ships....really fantastic ones. I found this card on Sandi MacIvers blog from awhile ago. It is a perfect birthday card for a ship builder. It uses the Open Sea stamp set and the retired DSP from last year. I hope he enjoys it half as much as I enjoyed making it.

It sure was heavy

When we were in Orlando earlier this month for Stampin'Up!'s Leadership conference we stayed with a high school friend of my hubby's. The friend was a TV Producer/Director and won an Emmy. I picked it up and WOW, it sure was heavy. He also gave us a guided tour of the city which was really nice. The Oscar beside it was given to him by his high school for the fantastic job he did putting a CD together.
